A hunger strike at the Guantanamo prison continues to grow, although the number of people involved is a source of dispute between the U.S. military and lawyers representing detainees. A military spokesman has said that 39 of the 166 detainees are taking part, but many believe the number is much higher. In a recent Op-Ed for the Washington Post, Thomas Wilner explained why he thinks our policy needs to change. He was the counsel of record to the Guantanamo detainees in the two U.S. Supreme Court cases that established their right to habeas corpus. Wilner joins Worldview to talk about the hunger strike.
