At the start of every school year, especially in big cities, it takes a little while to get everyone situated. There’s always a lot of shuffling when it comes to enrollment. But by the end of the first month - or the 20th school day to be exact - CPS locks in it’s enrollment figures. WBEZ and Catalyst Chicago have been digging into this year’s numbers, following two interesting shifts.
