A 28-year-old shooter killed three 9-year-old children and three staff members at an elementary school in Nashville, Tenn., Monday.
The Nashville school shooting is the 129th mass shooting in the U.S. so far in 2023, according to the Gun Violence Archive. A Highland Park shooting survivor happened to be in the area of the attack and spoke out during a press conference covering the shooting.
