A new report shows national home value averages are 83 percent higher in areas with high performing schools. In Chicago, home values in neighborhoods with higher ranking elementary schools were 65 percent higher than those near low-performing schools.

Daren Blomquist is with ATTOM Data Solutions says the data also points to how the inequity of schools is tied to the disparity in the housing market, but there are exceptions.
