In the last week, the city has evicted dozens of homeless people from two viaducts in Uptown to make way for repairs to the deteriorating structures. Activists tried to prevent the eviction with a lawsuit, but a judge ruled against them. Some of the homeless have agreed to move into shelters, others ended up in apartments and still others have moved somewhere else entirely. Morning Shift talks with WBEZ reporter Odette Yousef about the latest on what’s been known as Tent City in Uptown.
