To combat the Ebola outbreak in Africa, Senegal decided to close its border with Guinea. Lots of attention has been on Liberia, where the crisis is worst, but the outbreak started in Guinea in December 2013. We’ll talk about how Guinea handled the crisis and what Chicago’s Guinean American community is doing with two brothers, Amadou Diallo, co-vice president of Guinean American Communities United Organization and Oumar Diallo, host of the internet radio program, Voice of African Youth on “Guineaview”.
