How long can we expect U.S. gas prices to fall?

Gas prices have been trending downward for the last few weeks.

Gas prices remain high but they’re on the decline nationally. The national average for a gallon of regular gas is now $4.72, according to AAA. In Illinois, the average cost is about 50 cents higher.
