Each week global citizen Nari Safavi helps listeners plan their international weekend. 

This week he’s joined by the Trapdoor Theater’s artistic director, Beata Pilch. Pilch plays the asylum director in the theater’s production of How to Explain the History of Communism to Mental Patients.

The play was written by Romanian playwright Matei Vişniec, whose early work was banned by the Romanian censors.
