GOP State Senator Dan McConchie says Rauner’s signature underscores grave concerns Republicans have with him as their party’s nominee in next year’s election. But Rauner heavily funds the Illinois Republican Party — and the chairman of the state party says there’s no daylight between Rauner and the party.
