The Trump administration is making a 90 percent cut to programs promoting the Affordable Care Act. It hasn’t been able to repeal and replace Obamacare so the administration is turning to making cuts where it can.

Stephanie Altman with the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law says the enrollment period for the healthcare exchange will be shorter this year and cutting advertisement for the program means people will get shut out. Funding for navigators, or consumer helpers is also facing a 40 percent cut.
