Purnima Nath is a Milwaukee-based engineer and professional singer. Her passion for community engagement and for India’s culture led her to create IndiaFest Milwaukee, a one day celebration of Indo culture, food, history and community. Nath joins us to talk about the offerings at this year’s fest and how the lower-middle class background of her youth in India influences her work for diversity and social inclusion. Nath will also sing for us to give a taste of the kind of entertainment you might hear on Saturday!
