It’s about to get very, very cold in Chicago. Wind chills Thursday night could drop into the negative 20s, and the middle of next week could be even worse.
The National Weather Service station in Romeoville is forecasting a record-breaking blast of cold air will hit the area by Wednesday.
The situation could be more dire that the polar vortex of 2014.
