Gradually she was able to enter into their society and became closer to the animals than perhaps anyone else ever has. Today, the name Dr. Jane Goodall is synonymous with the idea of wildlife conservation. Several years ago she founded a youth service organization called Roots and Shoots. Credell Walls is the Illinois State Coordinator for Roots and Shoots. Walls and Dr. Goodall stopped by our studios to tell us about the organization.
