The spirit of the former Beatle finds its way, yet again, into song-this time, plucked and strummed by the nimble hands of the orchestral-folk collective Jonas Friddle and the Majority. The Chicago-based seven-piece group took in a cool twenty-grand for their winning entry in a John Lennon songwriting contest. The prize will be awarded this coming Wednesday at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago when the John Lennon Educational Tour rolls into town.
