Lightfoot, Pritzker Split On CTU, Firefighter Pension Bills

The state’s top two elected officials are split over bills Governor Pritzker signed into law in recent days.

Governor JB Pritzker has signed two bills in recent days over the objections of Mayor Lori Lightfoot — one that boosts firefighters’ pensions and another that restores bargaining rights for Chicago teachers.
