Some local business leaders are praising the way Governor Bruce Rauner is leading Illinois.

Todd Maisch - the president of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce - says says some Chamber members are concerned about the year-long impasse - but Rauner’s agenda is the same agenda as the business community’s.

Maisch says the Illinois Chamber doesn’t only support Republicans, but this Fall, the organization will be getting involved in political campaigns that support Rauner’s policies, like changes in workers’ compensation.
