Officials confirmed the first case of Ebola last night in the country’s largest city. Dr. Craig Spencer tested positive for the disease after returning from Guinea where he was stationed through Doctors Without Borders. The first confirmed case in a large city is raising more questions about how other densely populated places-like Chicago-are prepared. Rush University is one of four hospitals in the city arming doctors and nurses with the tools to care for people with Ebola. Dr. Omar Lateef is the Director of Critical Care at Rush.
