The Muslim Education Center in Morton Grove recently hosted an interfaith iftar. Worldview production assistants Jenny Friedland and Ashish Valentine joined the community as they broke their fast to end another day of Ramadan, which concludes at sunset on June 4. They also sat in on a conversation among local community members working on interfaith initiatives, a portion of which they now bring to Worldview listeners. Joining the conversation were Laura Frisch, who is Jewish and works as a teacher, Rina Campbell, who is Christian and works as a diversity, equity and inclusion consultant, and Khadija Ahmed, who is Muslim and works as an IT consultant in addition to serving as vice president of the Muslim Education Center.
