The James Beard Awards, known as the Oscars of food, returned to Chicago last night. The awards are in their 28th year but it’s the fourth year in a row that they’ve taken place in Chicago.
WBEZ’s Monica Eng was at the Civic Opera House Monday night for the event and she joins the Morning Shift to tell us about the changes in the awards and how Chicagoans fared.
