This morning Tribune employees noticed that the Marilyn Monroe sculpture on Pioneer Court was vandalized for the second time. Police received reports of the act early Tuesday morning. The first time around what appeared to be gang tags showed up on the back of her right calf. This time the front of her right leg had red paint running down it, evoking a shaving mishap.
Despite being called the worst piece of public art in the world by some, the controversial sculpture was quickly cleaned. WBEZ’s Kate Dries stopped by to snap these photos.
