President Donald Trump is in England, days after he said the United Kingdom was in “turmoil”. His originally scheduled visit of last year, was reportedly postponed by the UK government’s request, over fears of massive protests and disorder. Last night, Trump and First Lady, Melania, dined with British Prime Minister, Theresa May, her husband, and 150 invited guests at a black-tie affair. The already tense relationship between Trump and May was further complicated after Trump praised her fiercest political rival, fellow Tory Boris Johnson. He recently resigned as May’s foreign minister, in large part, over significant disagreements with May over her handling of Brexit negotiations. Trump will also meet with Queen Elizabeth, and take in a military parade at Windsor Castle. Though he plans to mostly avoid London, massive anti-Trump protests rocked the British capital, and elsewhere in the UK. BBC Reporter, Rich Preston, will check in with us from the protests, and discuss what’s happening on-the-ground.
