Once known as a bastion of folk and classical music, Israel over the last decade has become known for producing an incredible amount of top-notch Jazz musicians. Now for the second straight year, some of the best players in the Israeli Jazz scene have converged on Chicago for the Israeli Jazz and World Music Festival. One of the best-known, both in and out of his home country, is flutist and composer Mattan Klein.
