If you think getting into your top pick for college can be tough, try competing with thousands from around the world for just 20 slots for a fellowship at the Obama Foundation. Two Chicago women are among that first class that gets to tap into the foundation’s resources, leadership development opportunities, and other benefits that come with the program. Tiana Epps-Johnson and Dominique Jordan Turner will spend two years working with other fellows and stop by the Morning Shift to talk about their plans and expectations for the fellowship.
