Forty-seven percent of the train-pedestrian accidents in the Chicago area are suicides, much higher than the national average. Hilary Konczal, Metra’s Director of Safety, tells us what Metra and other railroads are doing to prevent people from using the country’s biggest rail hub to take their own lives.
