The lack of federal action to fix our immigration system has led local and state governments across the Midwest to propose a variety of individual solutions. A panel of guests join us to talk about these possible solutions and the impact they might have on the Midwest. Our panelists are Steve Tobocman, the Leader Global Detroit & Global Great Lakes and Paul McDaniel, a Research Fellow at the American Immigration Council. Plus, Juliana Kerr, Director of the Immigration Initiative at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, and Tonantzin Carmona, Director of the Office of New Americans at the Chicago Mayor’s Office.
