As the Neo-Nazi and White Nationalist/Power movements dominate the news, we take a cinematic look back to Chicago’s racist past. WBEZ Film Contributor, Milos Stehlik of Facets, joins us to interview filmmaker, Tom Palazzolo, the director of the documentaries “Marquette Park Part I” (1976) and “Marquette Park Part II” (1978).  The films look at how “the American Nazi party and white supremacist ideology had an enduring influence on white working-class youth culture on the Southwest Side of Chicago into the mid-1970s.”

This segment was produced by Steve Bynum.
