Last night’s Oscars were notable for the lack of a host, the success of actors and filmmakers from a variety of traditionally underrepresented backgrounds and the presence of foreign-language films such as Roma and Cold War in competition for top awards. Having interviewed more than a few of these films’ directors on Worldview, WBEZ film contributor and director at Facets Chicago Milos Stehlik joins us to recap and share his insights on the night.
