WBEZ film contributor and Facets Multi-Media Director Milos Stehlik reviews two Argentinian films: The Long Night of Francisco Sanctis and Kekszakallu.

The Long Night of Francisco Sanctis tells the story of a poet’s struggle to have his voice heard during the junta in 1970s Argentina and runs August 25-31, 2017 at the Gene Siskel Film Center.  Kekszakallu follows a group of girls from Argentina’s upper class as they deal with life changes from the country’s economic malaise of the past few years and runs August 25-31, 2017 at Facets Cinémathèque.
