More people are claiming they were wrongfully convicted at the hands of a corrupt Chicago police sergeant. Cook County judges have already tossed out convictions of five people arrested by Sergeant Ronald Watts or officers he supervised. Watts and one other officer went federal prison. A new petition asks the court to vacate convictions of 15 other people allegedly framed by the sergeant’s crew.
