Legendary White Sox player and Chicago’s first black major leaguer, Minnie Minoso died Sunday. Throughout his career, Minoso became known to many as Mr. White Sox and leaves behind a reputation in Chicago of being the team’s ambassador and inspired generations of young black and Latino baseball players.
