Pope Francis continues his US visit with a speech at the United Nations today and he’s expected to talk about some of the same things he brought up in his address to Congress yesterday. He covered lots of topics, from climate change to immigration. He also touched on family. The pope talked about the “importance,” “richness,” and “beauty” of family life, but also he lamented that in contemporary society, more people are waiting to start families. We asked our listeners if they or someone they know has delayed marriage and kids, and why. Then, we get a visit from Chicago comedian Godfrey, a conversation with the founder of a project documenting oral histories of African Americans and a preview of tomorrow’s Chicago Football Classic taking place at Soldier Field.
