Do you have what it takes to go to Mars — cramped in a small rocket with others for the estimated six months it would take to get there? Now that water has been discovered on the Red Planet, scientists are even more eager to send humans on a Mars Mission. Hopefully it won’t be like the journey described in the new movie Matt Damon movie “The Martian.” We examine what a perfect Mars Mission Team would look like and what NASA might learn from the world of psychology when it comes to how relationships form and fracture in tight spaces. And back here on earth, the battle over the expansion of Charter Schools in Chicago continues. Seven charters want to open up new campuses across the city and, not surprisingly, that’s being met with opposition. WBEZ Education Reporter Linda Lutton breaks down the arguments from both sides.
