Music As A Tool To Bolster Kids’ Social Emotional Skills During COVID-19

Research has shown music instruction to increase social connectivity and interpersonal skills in toddlers.

Nickelodeon Jr.’s learning platform Noggin is launching a new initiative in response to pre-schools closures and social isolation for kids that centers music learning as a tool to build social emotional skills for kids whose development has been disrupted by COVID.

Reset brings on the senior vice president of learning and impact for Noggin to hear more about the initiative and two teachers at a Chicago area school of music to share how their classes with toddler and infants are going at this time.
