The story follows Katrina, a young trans woman who runs away from her abusive family, Shizuka, a world-renowned violin teacher who has a deal with the devil, and Lan, an intergalactic refugee who runs a donut shop. Yes, all three of those storylines are in the same book, and it’s a ton of fun.
