Nerdette Book Club is back to talk about This Thing Between Us by Gus Moreno. This horror novel follows Thiago, a Chicagoan whose wife recently died in an accident at a train station. Spooky, unexplainable things begin to happen around him. At first, it just seems like a finicky smart speaker, but soon, Thiago begins to encounter much more sinister phenomena. This haunting debut will not only scare you, but also make you think deeply about identity and grief.
