Starting July 1, some new laws are taking effect here in Illinois.

Lawmakers in Springfield passed a whopping 599 bills during the spring legislative session. But of those, Gov. JB Pritzker has only signed 27 into law.

So, which ones do you need to know about? Which ones might affect you?
