Worldview speaks with South African playwright, actor and director Omphile Molusi about his work Cadre. Inspired by the true life-events during and after Apartheid, Cadre explores the life of a former soldier in the Azanian People’s Liberation Army who struggles with feelings of disappointment and betrayal during his quest for democracy. Joining Molusi to perform an excerpt from his work are Lillian Tshabalala and Sello Motloung. Cadre runs February 15-23 at Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
