New Podcast ‘Through The Cracks’ Investigates Unsolved Disappearance Of 8-Year-Old Relisha Rudd

Black women and girls are overrepresented among missing persons in the U.S. Experts say their disappearances are often underreported.

The first episode of the new investigative podcast Through The Cracks, which looks at gaps in our society and the people who fall through them, is out Thursday. The first season digs into the unsolved disappearance of 8-year-old Relisha Rudd in 2014.

Reset talks to the podcast’s host about Rudd’s story and how it might shed light on the nationwide issue of underreporting of missing Black girls.
