New Scholarship Aims To Keep Black Students In School

Tenisha Taylor Bell was 5 years old when her father was robbed, shot and killed in Chicago by three men. 

“They were 15, 19, and 21,” she said of her father’s attackers. “They could have had an opportunity and a chance if someone believed in them.”

To give black male students that opportunity, Bell said she is using a foundation she started to honor her father.
