New Study: Black Women Dying From COVID-19 At Disproportionate Rate

A new study from Harvard University’s GenderSci Lab found that Black women in Michigan and Georgia are dying at three times the rate of both white and Asian men. Researchers say their analysis complicates the narrative that, overall, men are dying at greater rates than women.

Reset checks in with Sarah Richardson, founder and director of the GenderSci Lab, for more on the study’s findings.
