Professor Muhammad Yunus is a banker and economist. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for developing and innovating microfinance, through his Grameen Bank enterprise. His work to eliminate extreme poverty began in Bangladesh, but has now become a global movement, reaching into the United States. We’ll talk with Yunus about his goal to reorient people from being “job seekers” to becoming “social entrepreneurs”. (Photo: Flickr/University of Salford Press Office)
