Fourteen workers sued the hospital system in October, alleging they lost their jobs over religious objections to getting the COVID-19 vaccine.
By Lynnea DomienikNorthShore University HealthSystem has agreed to pay a $10.3 million settlement to workers who filed a lawsuit over religious exemptions to the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. NorthShore has also agreed to rehire any employees who were fired for not getting vaccinated for religious reasons.
