NPR’s Code Switch team has launched a new podcast, one that explores how race defines us, and shapes our views of others.

The Code Switch team launched in May 2013, and includes Adrian Florido, Shereen Marisol Meraji, and Gene Demby. The first podcast episode, which revolves around discussions of whiteness, became available on iTunes Tuesday. Gene and Adrian joined host A Martinez to talk about how the podcast will tackle race in some unexpected, and at times uncomfortable, ways.
