Alderman Proco Joe Moreno, 1st was in studio this week for an Eight Forty-Eight segment. The minute we saw him in the office, we were reminded of the great short film by colleague and comedian Steve Delahoyde. It’s called ‘Max Gerber’ and it features the uber-talented Greg Hess (Cook County Social Club) as Max Gerber. Gerber (fake) is complaining about how a guy named Proco Joe Moreno has put up signs all over his famous Logan Square building.

Here is the original video.

And that video is the premise for a new segment we call “Over the Shoulder: Watching YouTube videos at Justin Kaufmann’s desk.”

It’s not everyday that you get a real life alderman to play along. And to possibly break news???? We expect to see an ordinance debated in City Council soon.
