Bob Falls (Goodman Theatre)
With the election of Rahm Emanuel, Chicago gets a new start. Why can’t that mean mean new leadership on the arts front. Conventional wisdom is that any functioning arts organization is a good arts organization. But if wasteful spending and stagnant leadership are to be criticized in all other branches of Chicago civic leadership, why should an institution as influential as the Goodman Theatre get a pass?

Paper Machete is a live variety show hosted by Onstage/Backstage Writer Christopher Piatt. You can watch the show live every Saturday at Ricochets in Lincoln Square. 3pm.
