Parents and students at a school on Chicago’s Northwest Side were devastated last week after a playground they helped bring to their community was destroyed by fire.

Chicago police are investigating it as an arson, leaving many feeling anxious and unsafe.

But some parents say they aren’t giving up efforts to better their school and the community around it.
