Pension reform in Illinois hit another hurdle on Friday. A Sangamon County judge ruled that the current law is unconstitutional. Attorney General Lisa Madigan has already said her office will appeal that ruling. Unions are claiming a victory about the ruling, saying that state workers have a constitutional right to rely on their retirement funds.
