Pfizer Says COVID-19 Vaccine Is Safe For Kids Ages 5-11

Some experts say the vaccine could be available to young children before Halloween if the emergency authorization process goes smoothly.

Pfizer says its vaccine is safe and effective for children ages 5 to 11 and plans on submitting a request for emergency authorization by the end of September.
