Governor Quinn on Tuesday defended his decision to include Illinois as one of three states requiring the quarantine of high risk travelers from countries affected by the Ebola virus. And while public health officials have detailed that transmission of the virus in the U.S. is unlikely, travelers are facing stigmatization. Journalist Marcus DiPaolo just returned from Liberia and even though he’s been placed on the no-risk list, he’s still facing concerns from friends that he could be dangerous.
