The 78th annual McDonalds Thanksgiving kicked off Thursday morning on State Street downtown.
The parade route stretched from Congress to Randolph. Chicagoans and visitors were greeted by a massive turkey ,Garfield the cat and several marching bands. The parade’s Grand Marshal was actress Holland Taylor from “The Practice.”
